Is Salman Khan pushing his luck with ‘Bodyguard’ sequel?
The latest news about the possibility of a sequel to the superstar’s recent film makes me wonder if he is overdoing the success formula
Bodyguard’s producer Atul Agnihotri is considering making a sequel of the Salman Khan-Kareena Kapoor hit. He adds that there is no plan at the moment though. Like all of Salman’s recent films Bodyguard too got a grand opening and great box-office collections. It was a typical Salman flick replete with super heroic stunts and funny antics weaved into an incoherent story. And that’s been the case with most of his films – Dabangg, Ready and now Bodyguard. Going by what people had to say after watching Bodyguard it is clear that it wasn’t the story, but the superstar’s charisma that lured his fans to the theatres. So if the sequel happens, one question that comes to my mind is: will his fans throng to neighbouring cinema halls to watch him do a mindless act yet again? Click here to read more -

Lovely Singh (Salman) is a bodyguard, so he can fit in any situation or genre. And he isn’t married nor does he have kids.” But he quickly adds that there are no sequel plans at the moment. Agnihotri also said that he hasn’t spoken to Salman in a while and jumping to conclusions wouldn’t be right. While Bodyguard was a hit, we wonder if Salman’s fans can continue watching him in these mindless acts?

Salman Khan: Songs of success
The Bad Boy may not be the best dancer in Bollywood, but almost every song he has been part of carries his trademark attitude – bindass, badass, cool and entertaining – and a gorgeous gal on his arm, from Kareena Kapoor to Sonakshi Sinha, Katrina Kaif, Priyanka Chopra and Asin
When it comes to dancing Salman Khan isn’t effortless like Hrithik Roshan or elastic like Ranbir Kapoor, but when he moves, he almost always starts a trend. Despite grooving in those aerobics style steps, the Ready star adds drama to almost all his songs. Click here to read more -
