The story that Deepika Padukone walked out of Race 2 to do Yeh Jawani Hain Diwani with Ranbir Kapoor and Ayan Mukherjee is abuzz in the Bollywood circuit. However, Race 2 producer Ramesh Taurani tweeted it was a false rumour. He insisted that the leggy lady was still a part of the Abbas-Mastan film also starring Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha. But his worst fears came true. Deepika Padukone may opt out of ‘Race 2’ for a film opposite Ranbir Kapoor
Apparently Deepika Padukone has given preference to her film with Ranbir Kapoor over Race 2 opposite Saif Ali Khan. And we think she has made the right choice
Deepika Padukone might have some tough choices to make. Early in the year she had signed Abbas Mastan’s Race sequel, but now she may no longer be part of it. The film will be shot between January and June 2012. Everyone from the cast – Saif ali Khan, John Abraham, Anil Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha – have allotted dates except the leggy lass. Apparently, around the same time Dippy has to shoot for Ayan Mukherji’s Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani with ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor. Click here to read more
