Ajay Devgn birthday special: The various facets of the actor
The versatile star turns 44, and we take a look at some of his best roles
Born on April 2, 1969, in Punjab, Ajay Devgn was raised in Mumbai. Ajay’s father is the well known action director Veeru Devgan and his mother is a producer. Ajay made his acting debut at the age of 15 with the 1985 film Meri Behna. Six years later, he marked his entry as a hero in Phool Aur Kaante. The movie won him his first Filmfare Award. In the lives of a common man, patriotism is a dormant sentiment which is aroused usually when there is an India vs Pakistan cricket match, a terrorist attack or any natural calamity. And every now and then, when we see a film with a patriotic theme, we are reminded of our love for our country.
