Sameera Reddy was born on December 14, 1982 in Andhra Pradesh. After completing college, she appeared in ghazal singer Pankaj Udhas’ music video Aur Aahista. She was noticed in 2002’s Maine Dil Tujhko Diya and Darna Mana Hai. In 2004, she acted alongside Anil Kapoor in Musafir and moved on to working in Telugu films. Later, she did notable films like No Entry, Taxi Number 9211 and Race. Her Tamil movie Vaaranam Aayiram directed by Gautham Menon was much appreciated. She acted alongside south stars such as Suriya and Rana Daggubati. Sameera’s last few films Bollywood films include De Dana Dan and Red Alert: The War Within.
