Rajinikanth’s Kochadaiyaan to be unveiled in Cannes

The Superstar’s most awaited project will be released in the prestigious film festival

The trailer of the RajinikanthDeepika Padukone starrer Tamil period-drama Kochadaiyaan will be unveiled at the forthcoming Cannes International Film Festival to be held between May 15 and May 26. The Superstar himself will be present at the event.

“We will launch the trailer of Kochadaiyaan at the Cannes film festival,” said Amita Naidu, Vice President, PR Eros. “Rajini sir will be present at the festival to unveil the trailer of Kochadaiyaan,” added the film’s spokesperson.

Directed by Soundarya Ashwin, daughter of the Superstar, it is India’s first movie filmed in motion-capture technology, along the lines of Avatar and Tin Tin.

The film also features Jackie Shroff, Shobana and R Sarath Kumar. It is jointly produced by Eros International and Media One Global Entertainment.

The post-production work is underway currently.

 

 

 

Besides Rajinikanth, megastar Amitabh Bachchan will be present at the event to promote his Hollywood film “The Great Gatsby”, set to open movie extravaganza.
