This may sound as a disappointment to fans of Superstar Rajinikanth, but the latest about Kochadaiyaan is that the film will hit the screens only in Diwali.
Sources have it that the Superstar is interested in releasing the film for the festival to make it a perfect gift for his fans.
Directed by Soundarya R Ashwin, the younger daughter of Rajini, Kochadaiyaan is the first Indian film to be made on 3D using performance capture technology.
Music is by AR Rahman. Deepika Padukone, Sarath Kumar, Jackie Shroff, Nasser, Shobana, Aadhi and Rukmini are playing key roles in this period extravaganza.
