The two fell out after a long association and the Kakka Kakka composer says fans want to see them work together
Apart from being a great combo, Harris Jayaraj and Gautham Vasudev Menon were thick friends too, and dished out chartbusters in Minnale, Kakka Kakka and Vettaiyadu Vilayadu etc.
However, a misunderstanding between the two resulted in the end of their partnership, rather friendship, and Gautham started working with A R Rahman and Ilayaraja. But now, Harris has expressed his wish to join hands with his good friend again. “Audiences are eagerly waiting for us to work together again. I am ready to work with Gautham,” he says.
He further added, “In almost all social networking platforms, fans have been expressing their wish that we should join forces again. Hopefully it should come true soon.”
