Oh No! Aasiya Kazi’s return to TV with Mere Papa Hero Hiralal cancelled due to THIS reason

Telly actress Aasiya Kazi was all set to return to the small screen after a long hiatus. She was to play a negative role for the first time in Discovery JEET’s show, Mere Papa Hero Hiralal. The actress who became a household name with her stint in Bandini opposite Ronit Roy and Balika Vadhu (as Ganga), was too excited to play the dark shade for the first time. Aasiya’s fans too were eagerly waiting for her return on television. But sorry fans, her return is not happening anytime soon. According to latest reports, the makers have already wrapped up the shooting of the show, Mere Papa Hero Hiralal. The show which went on air on February 12, is soon going off air! Confirming the news to a leading daily, Aasiya said, “This show is different from the regular saas-bahu dramas. However, our journey has been cut short, and we have already been asked to stop shooting. The news came even before my entry could be telecast. I have no idea about the reason for this abrupt decision. It’s quite disappointing because as an actor, I haven’t been able to get any feedback for my work. Before the audience could see me in this new avatar, the journey has already ended.” She further added, “I remember crying for three hours on the last day of Bandini’s shoot, as that too was wrapped up abruptly. It feels bad even when a show ends after five years. However, I prepared myself mentally as this medium is uncertain. Actors can be deeply affected if they don’t take such unforeseen events in their stride. There are times when the shows keep getting extended when we are hoping they won’t or vice-versa. However, such occurrences are completely out of an actor’s control!” Well, it is surely a sad news. We hope, she returns to the small screen soon with a big bang.

Previously, the show was supposed to run for 130 episodes, but now it will complete only 65 episodes and go off air on May 11.
