It is beyond a smidgen of doubt that Yo Yo Honey Singh is right now India’s biggest hip-hop star. And it looks like Yo Yo is in no mood to rest as he is busy expanding his empire by entering into regional films. After crooning a few lines for Kolaveri Di composer, Anirudh Ravichander, in Ethir Neechal, the Desi Kalakaar singer is all set to record his second Tamil song.
We hear that under SS Thaman’s music, the talented rap star will sing for Prashanth’s Saahasam. Actress Lakshmi Menon, who is experimenting with playback singing has already recorded her portions of the song. Producer Thiagarajan confirmed,” Yes, the song was recorded recently and Lakshmi has already rendered her portion. It is a peppy number and we are all set to record Honey Singh’s bits too in the coming days. The song will be an introduction song of sorts in the film. We are also recording a different song with Mohit Chauhan and Arijit Singh in Mumbai later this week.”
Looks like father Thiagarajan is going all out to relaunch his son Prashanth back in the big league.
