Shraddha Kapoor turned 22 recently and she chose to celebrate her birthday in a special way. No, she didn’t go on a candlelight dinner date with her alleged boyfriend and Aashiqui 2 co-star, Aditya Roy Kapur.
But Shraddha celebrated the special day with her spot boy, Raju.
Yes, Raju’s birthday was on the same day as Shraddha’s, so she decided to celebrate with him. And the celebration took place on the sets of Kapoor gal’s upcoming film, The Villain, which has Sidharth Malhotra playing the male lead.
“Raju has been with her for a very long time now and Shraddha treats her staff like her extended family. They celebrated their birthday together on the sets of The Villain. They also cut the cake and Raju felt really special with this gesture,” a source close to Shraddha reveals.
When contacted Shraddha, she said, “My team is like my family to me. Raju and I share the same birthday and it was a working one for both us. We had a small celebration on sets.”
Giving out more details about Shraddha’s birthday this year, the source adds, “On her special day, Shraddha did all that she loves to do. First, she had a shooting schedule with one of her favourite directors, Mohit Suri, post which she got a surprise from her cousin, who flew down from Delhi to meet her on her birthday. Shraddha also received a lot of personalised gifts and letters from her fans.”
Well, Shraddha indeed had a good time on her birthday, but we wonder why was Aditya missing from all the celebrations.
