Salman Khan’s first film with Sooraj Barjatya, Maine Pyaar Kiya turned out to be a huge hit at box office. While the film was highly popular among youngsters, veteran actress found the film childish.
It is said that Salman had showed the film to Zeenat Aman and had asked for her opinion. Giving an unbiased view of the film, Zeenat Aman found the scene where Salman closes the eye while applying Iodex on Bhagyashree’s ankles very childish. Being a bold actress of her time, she thought it was kiddish of Salman to close his eyes while applying Iodex on heroine’s knee. Salman took Zeenat’s comments sportively and tried his best to make her understand director’s sensibilities.
