Known for his serious art-house performances, The Dirty Picture actor finally got to let his hair down
In his illustrious career as an actor, Naseeruddin Shah hasn’t been seen doing typical Bollywood dance items, other than an odd Oye oye in Tridev. Milan Luthria’s latest film presented to him an opportunity to put his dancing shoes to use. And wethinks Naseer did ample justice to it! In a recent interview, Shah said, “I haven’t seen the movie, like most of my other films. But if people love what I have done, I must thank everyone who helped me pull off those gaudy clothes and the dance sequence around the matkas (earthern pots). It took me 35 years in the business to finally dance.” Wethinks the wait has been worth it and we loved to see Naseer saab ‘dirty’ dancing with the ‘Ooh la la’ babe Vidya Balan!
