Naagin 3 is ruling the BARC charts with the show being a rage in urban and semi-urban areas. The show revolves around an Icchadhaari Naagin Bela (Surbhi Jyoti) who returns to avenge the death of her lover, Vikrant played by Rajat Tokas. People are loving the third season and the fresh new cast that has Anita Hassanandani, Surbhi and actor Pearl V Puri. This is the handsome hunk’s first project with Balaji and he is over the moon. In an interview to MiD Day, he said, “Ekta ma’am’s understanding of content is unparalleled. It’s a privilege to be part of her show.” He plays Maahir, who gets married to an Icchadhaari Naagin, Bela. Pearl’s fan following has increased immensely after his stint on the supernatural drama. Of course, there is a lot of flak on producers churning out supernatural shows like Naagin 3 and Nazar. Critics have slammed it as regressive and illogical fare. Pearl further told the paper, “I’ve not seen a naagin in real life. But, I have experienced paranormal activities as a child. When I was seven, I sensed ghosts around me. Everything exists, it’s all about what you believe in. I believe naagins exist. If one believes there is God, then there must be a devil too.” He also retorted to the show’s content being termed as regressive. He opined, “Naagin is gripping and convincing in its storytelling. It can well be compared to international shows.
