Varun Dhawan’s Badlapur co-star Yami Gautam was recently shooting in Ladakh for her next with T Series Sanam Re. We all are well aware of the extreme cold conditions in that part of the country. It seems that the cold has caught up with her faster than she could ever imagine. Yes, she fell sick! But being the committed actress that she is, she didn’t let her poor health affect the shoot.
Despite suffering from severe cold stroke, the Action Jackson actress continued to work. Due to the extreme weather conditions, the Vicky Donor actress was not completely fine healthwise. When she got herself checked by a doctor, she was advised to take complete rest. But in spite of being medically unfit, Yami went ahead and shot for the entire shoot schedule. Now that’s called commitment. Hai na?
Yami didn’t wish to stall the shooting and she was ready on set way before than anyone else. That too on the very next day of her falling ill. When the filmmakers asked her to take rest she said she wanted the schedule to move as planned. “There was a major altitude difference at Pangong lake accompanied by strong winds and snowfall. The entire crew had to have brandy to keep ourselves warm but despite that I collapsed to cold stroke…,” said the petite actress.
Wethinks that was brave move by the heroine to continue working despite being ill. She surely is setting high standards for her contemporaries to reach up! What do you think BollywoodLifers?
