The older actors who have had two releases this year, have had an interesting box-office ratio — one a hit and the other not so-good. Salman Khan had Jai Ho and Kick. Akshay Kumar had Holiday — A Soldier Is Never Off Duty and Entertainment. Now one needs to wait for Ajay Devgn’s next release Action Jackson which releases in November and see how it fares. His last release Singham Returns was a blockbuster.
Mean while, where the elder lot could not maintain Box office consistency, the younger lot seems to have gotten lucky twice…
Amongst the young brigade, Varun Dhawan has enjoyed two successes at the BO which include Main Tera Hero and Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhaniya while Arjun Kapoor has had Gunday and 2 States.
