The funny man who has grown into a fine actor celebrates his birthday today
Born on November 20, 1976, in Mumbai, Tusshar Kapoor as an actor has indeed come a long way in the 11 years he has spent in showbiz. Although he was born to one of the most illustrious superstars Jeetendra, success eluded the young actor for a while at the start of his career. His debut film with Kareena Kapoor didn’t work too well at the box office, but it didn’t dissuade him Tusshar from working relentlessly through the years. His efforts and hard work have helped him carve a niche for himself in the industry, as well as gather a huge fan following.
Though he tasted initial success with roles in comedy movies like the 2006 blockbuster Golmaal, as the speech-challenged Lucky, he grew on to take on more challenging roles in movies like Shootout at Lokhandwala, Khakee and most recently The Dirty Picture. These were much appreciated and the Kapoor lad can now proudly claim to be among the more successful Kapoors in the industry and a fine actor in his own right.
With two big ticket films up for release in 2013, including Shootout at Wadala and Golmaal 4, we’re waiting to see more of Tusshar in the coming year. We wish him all the very best and may he deliver more rip-roaring albeit interesting roles in the years to come! Happy birthday, Tusshar!
