Salman Khan is a person who doesn’t break records, he creates new ones so that others have a benchmark to attain. Tubelight might have dampened a lot of spirits but we are ready to bet on anything that Tiger Zinda Hai must have erased all memories of that Kabir Khan film. A sequel to 2012’s superhit Ek Tha Tiger, TZH was supposed to make things matter at the box office after a long lull period. But what it is doing at the theatres is simply unbelievable. The film has earned as of now Rs 206.04 crore and has become the fifth film of Salman Khan to attain that. And by achieving that he has become the only actor to have that many films in the Rs 200 crore club. Aamir Khan had the top spot before that with 4 films in the category.

Salman Khan’s five films include Sultan, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Tiger Zinda Hai, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo and Kick while Aamir has 3 Idiots, P.K., Dangal and Dhoom 3. Shah Rukh Khan has Happy New Year and Chennai Express in the category followed by Baahubali 2 for Prabhas, Krrish 3 for Hrithik Roshan and Golmaal Again for Ajay Devgn. While the Rs 100 crore club has a lot of young actors in it, the Rs 200 crore club as of now solely belongs to the seniors. This proves that any amount of newcomers can come to Bollywood but these actors will always be a bigger draw at the box office. They will have an upper-hand and more number of films in this category because their popularity has been developed over two decades.
