Suriya’s Singam 3 is all set to have a worldwide release tomorrow. This is the third installment of the cop actioner series. Suriya will return to the big screen as Durai singam with his signature handlebar moustache, killer dialogues and his power packed punches. The movie also stars Anushka Shetty, Shruti Haasan and TV star Thakur Anoop Singh who happens to be making his debut in Tamil films with this film. And now we have proof this release is going to be GRAND in every sense – It will release in 170+ screens in Karnataka, In Andhra Pradesh and Telugu states, the screen count is as high as 850 screens, in Tamil Nadu it will release in 500+ screens. Clearly, Suriya’s popularity spreads across most of South states. Also, the film according to reports has already raked in Rs 100 crore as part of its satellite and theatrical rights. Now let’s see if the third part blows away Suriya fans once again. The actor had revealed that his family liked the third part the most from all three. When part 2 released it opened to not so great reviews, but the movie went to fare brilliantly at the box office. Hoping Singam 3 receives great reviews and rakes in an even bigger collection.
However in the last two days, the producers of Singam 3 have had a cause for concern as a Tamil piracy website has dared to live-stream the movie on the day of its release. But now the latest update states, Madras HC issues a blanket #JohnDoe injunction (cease) ordee restraining ISPs & rogue websites from unauthorized webcast. Now hoping this cease order will put a stop to this piracy racket.
In other news, Suriya is shooting for Vignesh Sivan’s film Thaana Serntha Koottam. The film also stars Keerthy Suresh. He will soon join hands with Dhanush’s brother Selvaraghavan for an exciting project.
