Now don’t get us wrong. It’s not like we were checking out Sidharth Malhotra‘s package as he walked the golden carpet at Manish Malhotra’s 50th birthday bash. But as we watched each celeb’s fashion appearance closely we were shocked to see Sidharth tuck his left hand firmly in his pocket. And we could not help but wonder what was the Student Of The Year star up to. Like in the above pic taken at Manish Malhotra’s bash, where his left hand seems to be searching for that mythical change for Rs 1000 in his pocket. Or was he signed as the brand ambassador for Itch Guard?
Or perhaps he was singing in his mind that ’90s Saif Ali Khan song ‘Haathon Mein Aa gaya jo Kal rumaal aapka‘
Or may be the actor was trying to emulate his favourite superstar Amitabh Bachchan’s this pose.
Then we went ahead and checked Sidharth’s earlier red carpet appearances and found out something about this young heartthrob. The actor is generally awkward and doesn’t seem to know what to do when the shutterbugs aim at him at such dos. No wonder here are some moments that Sidharth was captured and so were his “fidgety” hands.
Look at the actor. He looks lost on what he could possibly do with his hands while posing at events. Almost invariably Sidharth ends up either clasping his hands together or then trying to fix his sleeve. Is this Sid’s take on the phrase haath ki safaai?
Things are a little different when he has a lady by him. And especially when he shares a special chemistry with them. Like in this case where he had Alia Bhatt for company. The actor seems at complete ease.
But after checking a few more pics we realised it had nothing to with Alia Bhatt. Give the man any kind of company, male or female, I mean on the red carpet, and his hands stops fidgeting. Like in the below pic where he has the Greek God, Hrithik Roshan’s company…
