The Prabhu Dheva directorial is slated to hit screens on October 2
Akshay Kumar is celebrating his 48th birthday! Yes, we know it’s hard to believe, but he is and in style too. The actor who was in London shooting for Sajid Khan’s Housefull 3, flew back in town to ring in his special day with his wife, Twinkle Khanna and kids. But the man has more reason to be happy and excited about. We had earlier informed you that the makers of his upcoming film, Singh Is Bliing that stars British import Amy Jackson opposite Akki, had decided to release the next song of the film on Akki’s birthday as a gift to him and well, they have. The new song, titled Cinema Dekhe Mamma is sung by Wajid, Shaan & Ritu Pathak and composed by Sajid Wajid.
The song is a fun watch in terms of the quirky steps, goofy expressions and beautiful landscapes, but unfortunately that’s all there to like. Musically the song lacks merit and failed to impress me the way the previous numbers did. With the standard set by Tung Tung Baje and Singh & Kaur, my expectations from the songs were pretty high and obviously, the song failed to live upto them.
