He has done it again. TV hunk Siddharth Shukla is known for his link-ups as well as his temper issues. However, this time, it looks like he has done irreparable damage to his image. The actor indulged in a war of words with actor Kunal Verma, who is a part of the show. A source told Bollywood Life, “Incidentally, the four of them Siddharth, Kunal, Rashami Desai and Jasmin Bhasin had gone partying a few days back. There in a drunken state, he said something, which made Kunal feel insulted. When he pointed out to Siddharth that his behaviour was rude, he further lost his temper and abused him. Kunal reported the matter to the production and the project head Sheetal came on the sets. What followed was shocking!”. Our source further told us that Siddharth was yelling at the project head but she did not take things lying down. She told him that he was not indispensable and there were many good actors in the industry. Infuriated, Siddharth told her that he had many other offers. If this was not all, he demanded his payment on the spot. The lady told him to sort out matters later in the office. However, everyone got a scare when she told him to ‘get out’ of the sets. If this was not enough humiliation for the actor, she also reminded him of the time when he came to the producers’ office apologising for his bad behaviour a few months before. Everyone who was on the set was appalled and shaken by the war of words. Siddharth has not reported for the shoot today and there is strong buzz that he might get replaced. This news has sent shock waves in the industry. Co-star Kunal Verma apparently told the channel in no uncertain terms that he would not share screen space with Siddharth. Kunal told India Forums.com, “Yes, that’s true. After that incident, Siddharth used to constantly talk nonsense to me but I chose to ignore him. But the situation only worsened further as while I was shooting for a scene yesterday, Siddharth, who was standing behind me, started abusing me and calling me names that I am ashamed to even talk about! I kept quiet and maintained my decorum. But when things went out of the proportion, I told the production people to wind up my shoot as fast as possible or use my dupe for the scene as I just couldn’t stand him anymore! I didn’t even want to see his face!” Kunal further told the portal, “Yes, the project head had to come to the sets and intervene. She assured me that all the actors are same for them, be it Siddharth or anyone else. She then confronted Siddharth for his rash behaviour.”
