Salman Khan to go back to his ‘Karan Arjun’ days in Bharat

It’s a rather exciting news for all Salman Khan fans as they will get to see him the way he looked in earlier days. The actor is all set to start shooting for Ali Abbas Zafar’s next movie, Bharat, from the coming Sunday and we are all excited to see him as a daredevil stunt motorcyclist. Yes, Salman will play the role of a stunt motorcyclist who works in a circus with his sister, Disha Patani, who’s a trapeze artist. Director, Ali, revealed some more details about Salman’s character in the movie and how he’ll sport different looks in the film with Priyanka Chopra. Going further, Ali even elaborated on how he’ll take Salman Khan back to his Karan Arjun days in the movie and we are so damn excited to see that particular scene/s. According to Ali, “Salman and Disha will go through a metamorphosis through the course of the film.” He further explained it saying that they will use prosthetics to take Salman back to his Karan Arjun days. Meanwhile, the unit is gearing up to start shooting its first schedule in Mumbai that will revolve around Salman and Disha. “The idea is to create an Indian-Russian circus like Raj Kapoor’s Mera Naam Joker. Performers from all over the world are flying down for the circus tricks will be a mix of trapeze hoops and rope stunts. This is Salman and Disha’s introduction in the movie,” Ali revealed. Post their Mumbai schedule, the crew will fly to Malta and then finish the shooting in Abu Dhabi. Unlike the reports that earlier stated that Salman would be denied a UK visa, the crew never had a plan to shoot it there in the first place. For those of you who don’t know, Bharat is an official adaptation of the South Korean movie – Ode To My Father. The Korean film depicted the history of the country from the 1950s to present-day through the life of a man. According to producer Atul Agnihotri, Bharat will show us the journey of Salman and India from 1947 to the early 2000s. The film is directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, who previously delivered two blockbusters with Salman – Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai.
