As “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” completed one year since its release, director Kabir Khan is looking forward to starting his next film with superstar Salman Khan. He says “a new journey will begin” soon.
After delivering two blockbuster hits in “Ek Tha Tiger” and “Bajrangi Bhaijaan” with Salman, Kabir is eager to start the next project, which has been titled “Tubelight”.

Released on July 17, “Bajrangi Bhaijaan”, which also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and child artiste Harshaali Malhotra, narrates the story of a Hindu man on a mission to take a Pakistani girl, who is dumb and mute, back to her country. It chronicles his adventures and experiences faced during his road trip.
Salman, who is now basking in all the appreciation coming his way for “Sultan“, will reportedly shoot the first schedule of the “Tubelight” in Ladakh. When Sultan hit the theatres on July 6, it created a storm at the box office. Just within three days, it went to rake in 100 crore. Everyone has been applauding Salman and Anushka for their stellar performances in the film. In the last 11 days, Sultan has made a total collection of 236.59 crores. In fact, recently wrestling champion Sangram Singh is extremely pleased with what Salman’s Sultan has done for the sport of wrestling. He especially love the never-say-die attitude sported by Salman in the film. Apart from the Sultan fever, reports state that Salman is all ready to set foot into Marathi cinema in a film called Shivaji. From unique topic-film like wrestling to now regional cinema and of course Kabir Khan’s next–Salman is going placesand is not stopping anytime soon!
