A few days back we revealed a striking coincidence between Bajrangi Bhaijaan and the real-life story of an Indian woman named Geeta stranded in Pakistan. Through BB, director Kabir Khan and lead character Pavan Kumar Chaturvedi (Salman Khan) had helped Shahida (Harshaali Malhotra) to reunite with her family in Pakistan with the help of Chand Nawab (Nawazuddin Siddiqui). Now, it seems that Salman Khan and Kabir Khan are playing Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Chand Nawab in real life too. They’re trying to spread the story across various media platforms so that her family can get in touch with her.
Yesterday, director Kabir Khan called the media for an interaction where he revealed how he came to know about Geeta, how Salman Khan reacted when he heard about it and how they plan to help Geeta come back home. Kabir also mentioned how a law can be formulated so that such issues are resolved swiftly.
Though the Indian government has got into the act by sending the Indian envoy to Karachi and meet this hearing and speech-impaired woman, Kabir and Salman want to chip in also. Check out the video below to see what Kabir said:
