Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter‘s Dhadak trailer is out and we have to say it is fabulous! Not only are we intrigued and entertained by the trailer, but also impressed by the actors’ stellar performances. We are sure everyone will be talking about Ishaan and Janhvi’s class act in the movie once it releases, after all, the Sairat actors (the original film from which Dhadak has been remade) were also praised for their performances too. But what are the Sairat actor – Akash Thosar up to? Well, we have all the dope for you, in fact, Akash Thosar has a special connection with Janhvi Kapoor – Ishaan Khatter’s Dhadak too and we know how!
We all know Dhadak is being made by Karan Johar. Similarly, Akash‘s next film – Lust Stories is also being partly made by KJo too. So the common link between the two is the filmmaker! For those of you who don’t know, Akash Thosar plays a small town student who falls in love with his teacher – Radhika Apte in Lust Stories. The Netflix film is divided into four sub stories, which have been directed by four different actors. Akash’s portion is directed by Anurag Kashyap. Talking about Lust Stories, Ashi Dua (co-producer), had mentioned earlier, “None of the stories are in continuation or a sequel and all of them will revolve around the different equations of love and lust. I can’t say which short I love the most since they’re all my babies but it is great to enjoy the film in totality like I Love New York or Paris Je’taime.” Anyway, what do you guys have to say about this special connection?
