Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju becomes the fourth fastest entrant to Rs 200 crore club after Baahubali 2, Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan

Ranbir Kapoor’s Sanju has enjoyed a record-breaking opening week at the box office. The biographical drama is now setting new benchmarks at the ticket windows. The biographical drama has minted Rs 202.51 crore in its opening week and with this, it has become the fourth fastest entrant to enter the Rs 200 crore club after Baahubali 2, Tiger Zinda Hai and Sultan. In fact, Sanju has turned out to be Ranbir Kapoor’s first to achieve this feat at the box office.

Talking about the 200 crore clubs, Baahubali had collected in Rs 224. 25 crore in 6 days on the other hand, Salman Khan’s Tiger Zinda Hai took 7 days to earn Rs 206.04 crore. Another Salman Khan starrer Sultan had raked in Rs 208.82 crore in 7 days. Looking at the current scenario, we are expecting the film to cross Rs 250 crore mark by the end of its second weekend at the box office. Since the film has positive reviews, we are expecting Sanju to enjoy a long run at the box office just like Rajkumar Hirani’s previous ventures. Apart from the domestic market, the film has performed phenomenally well in the international circuits, especially in Australia, USA, Canada and UK.
