Rajkumar Hirani has done it again! This man is simply fab. He doesn’t make films often but when he does, he makes it count. He did it with 3 Idiots (Rs 200 crore club), then with P.K. (Rs 300 crore club) and now with Sanju, he might just give Ranbir Kapoor his biggest hit ever! In three days, the film has earned a massive Rs 120.06 crore. It, of course, has broken many records but there is something more that this film has earned which was invincible until now. It has defeated none other than Baahubali 2. By earning Rs 46.71 crore on its third day at the box office, it has managed to score the highest single day numbers for any film. All this while, Baahubali 2 had the distinct honour of taking that spot with Rs 46.05 crore. Interestingly, Sanju had only 4000 screens to work on while Baahubali 2 got a massive chunk of 5000 screens. Also, the latter had released in many dubbed languages along with 3d versions. Even after that Sanju has managed to leave it behind. Box office this year has been such a joyous subject to discuss on. While #Sanju has crossed the *3-day opening weekend biz* of #Race3 by a distance, it has also crossed the *extended weekend biz* of #Padmaavat by a margin… That’s not all, #Sanju has also surpassed the *3-day opening weekend biz* of #TigerZindaHai [₹ 114.93 cr]… AWESOME!
