Rajinikanth and 2.O team head to Delhi for next schedule!

The schedule will begin next week

Rajinikanth has wrapped up for his gangster flick Kabali and is now completely focused on the ambitious Shankar directorial 2.O. The movie is being shot in a lot of locations around the country like Chennai, Bangalore and now the team is heading to the capital.

The next sequence of 2.O will be shot in a cricket stadium in New Delhi. It seems that the entire cast and crew will be shooting at the same spot for the entirety of the month. The schedule will last approximately for 25 days. As for what will they be shooting, it will mostly be a futuristic action sequence with use of heavy machinery and vehicles. This schedule will just be a continuation of the one shot in Chennai recently. Maybe this will the scene where Akshay Kumar and Superstar will finally fight against each other.

Shankar and his team are not only planning to shoot around India, but also going to shoot a major portion of the film abroad. This foreign schedule also includes a trip to Bolivia where a special song will be shot.

Also we wonder which cricket stadium will the scene be shot at, because the T20 World Cup is about to get underway and the dates are clearly clashing.

2.O is the sequel of the 2010 sci fi film Enthiran, also called Robot. The sequel also stars Amy Jackson as the female lead and Akshay Kumar as the primary antagonist. 2.O is turning out to be one of the most expensive Indian film till date with its grandeur matching that of Baahubali 2. The movie will release tentatively in 2017.

Speaking of fight scenes, take a look at the making of the epic train fight scene from Enthiran here:
