Puja Banerjee, who became a household name for her stint of Parvati in Devon Ke Dev Mahadev got engaged to her longtime boyfriend, actor Kunal Verma last year. The exchanged rings on August 16, 2017 in Mumbai. They met on the sets of Star Plus’ Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajna, and soon love blossomed. They had been dating each other for almost nine years and have faced many hurdles in between. They have also broken up, but their love for each other has compelled to come together and get engaged. Thus everyone was eager to know when they will be tying the knot.
In a conversation with TOI, she said, “Right now, I am occupied with work and both of us are concentrating on our careers. We got engaged a year ago and will not get married before 2019.”
Meanwhile, there were reports that Puja’s fiance, Kunal was miffed by the makers for not inviting him in JuzzBaat for himself but for Puja. He expressed his annoyance on the show. While sharing about this to the same, she said, “It was a personal thing that Kunal was talking about in the show. It was not related to the people in his life, including me or any member of his family. Every person is different. We all have positive and negative qualities. The best part about him is that he’s honest enough to accept his faults and change himself when needed.
