Our TV shows never cease to go ‘filmi’ and the latest to adapt a hit film track is Colors’ show ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’. The show’s current story has elements from Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Baijrao Mastani in form one man caught between two women. Check out the Bajirao Mastaani moments from the set of Dil Se Dil Tak with Teni as Mastaani, Shorvori as Kashi Bai and Parth as Bajirao. The show shows the marriage of Teni played by Jasmine Bhasin but she imagines herself as Mastani . She has now fallen for Parth, who is father of the surrogate baby in her womb. In order to make her feelings clearer, she organises a skit based on Bajirao Mastani.  Shorvori that is Rashami Desai is been given the role of Kashibai and Parth that is Sidharth Shukla plays Bajirao. The actors shot for an elaborate song and dance sequence, which should garner eyeballs. This will lead to a big culmination in the story where Shorvori will take a stand as the wife. Teni till now had come to her house as a surrogate mother but she is now out to destroy her marriage with Parth. What follows next is a big drama of Shorvori throwing Teni out of her house. Parth and Shorvori have plans of getting Teni married but she has other plans. It seems when Shorvori confronts Teni, she accepts that she loves Parth. So, it is man trapped between two women. Jasmine and Rashmi shot for a pingaa dance on the show as well. Both the actresses were dressed like Priyanka Chopra and Deepika Padukone in magenta sarees and traditional Maharashtrian jewellery. We will also see Jasmin dressed like Deepika’s Mastani in a creme and gold Anarkali. Siddharth Shukla will abe seen dressed like Ranveer Singh on the show. It seems like when our TV shows have nothing left to show they take Bollywood films as inspiration to move story forward. At this time, it is Bajirao Mastani for ‘Dil Se Dil Tak’.
