You must be wondering if Mouni Roy is returning as Shivanya on Naagin 3? Let me tell you guys, that is mostly not happening. She will be only seen in some of the flashback scenes of Naagin 3 as she is busy shooting for her two upcoming Bollywood movies – Akshay Kumar‘s Gold and Ranbir Kapoor‘s Brahmastra. But there is no reason for you to get upset. Here is a good news for you! Mouni is soon going to make her debut on the digital platform. She will be teaming up with Ekta Kapoor again and featuring in an upcoming web series by ALT Balaji.
A source told DNA, “There will possibly be some scenes which will have Mouni in flashbacks in the show this season, but Ekta has offered Mouni a web series, for her digital video platform, Alt Balaji, and Mouni is definitely doing it.” As of now, there are no further details about the web series. But the DNA report also mentioned, “Mouni has loved the idea and the series is being developed. Since it will have a limited number of episodes, it will be easy for Mouni to schedule the shoot in between her two Bollywood projects.”
Mouni will soon make her Bollywood debut with Gold. It is a sports biopic based on the life of Balbir Singh Sr. which will be played by Akshay Kumar. It revolves around the India team who won the first Olympic medal as a free nation in 1948. Mouni will be seen in a pivotal role in the movie. On the other hand, Mouni’s Brahmastra is an action movie which has Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in lead roles. But Mouni’s character has not yet been revealed. Gold is expected to be released on the Independence day of 2018 while Brahmastra is scheduled for Independence Day, 2019.
