Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy’s Gold will release on Independence Day and the actors have started promoting the film with full enthusiasm. The two were spotted at a plush hotel in the suburbs today. While Akshay Kumar kept it formal, Mouni opted for a pair of separates in Boho style. The olive green, charcoal and blue outfit was simple and classy. She paired it with a pair of silver earrings from Aquamarine Jewellery and left her hair open. She was styled by Rishika Devnani who has been working with her since a while now. In the film, she plays the role of simple Bengali housewife who loves to nag her husband like the others. The chemistry between Akshay Kumar and her was visible in the song Naino Ne Bandhi Kaisi Dor Re. We can see that the co-stars share a warm equation. Reema Kagti’s Gold is a historical drama tracing the first ever win of independent India in the Olympics. It also stars Kunal Kapoor, Amit Sadh and Vineet Kumar Singh. This is indeed a huge debut for Mouni who is one of the biggest stars of Indian Television. She has films like Romeo Akbar Walter (RAW) and Made in China opposite Rajkummar Rao in her kitty. She told IANS, “I think Rajkummar is a tremendous actor and I have always looked up to his work. I can’t wait to start working with him.
