We often hear of TV actors falling prey to illnesses and general fatigue, due to hectic and packed shooting schedules. Kumkum Bhagya’s Mrunal Thakur is a recent example, who collapsed on the sets of the show, owing to ill health. The beauty is popular for her role as Bulbul on the show and shares screen space with Arjit Singh, who plays her lover Purab in the series. A popular entertainment portal recently reported that the actress had fainted on the sets, while shooting. The portal claimed that the actress had been keeping ill for a while, as she was suffering from a stomach infection.
BollywoodLife got in touch with the actress who confirmed the news saying,” Yes I wasn’t feeling well and there was a telecast issue so being a true professional, I pushed myself and as a result, fainted.”
She further informed us that she has taken rest and is back to shoot for the show.” I rested for a day, now back on the sets of Kumkum Bhagya as the show must go on and I’m glad and thankful for having such a fantastic production and direction who helped me cope up!”
