Shantanu Maheshwari beat Hina Khan and Ravi Dubey to take home the Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8 trophy. The television actor cum dancer won the finale task after an intense battle and emerged as the winner of Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8. The grand finale of Rohit Shetty’s popular reality show was quite interesting. Not only was it entertaining but very intense too. The show started with five contestants – Shantanu Maheshwari, Hina Khan, Nia Sharma, Ravi Dubey and Monica Dogra fighting it out for the crown..
The first task saw Shantanu beat Hina and Monica to enter the finale task. Monica was eliminated and top 4 went ahead with the tasks. In the second task, Nia Sharma was eliminated. Hina, Shantanu and Ravi went into the finale climax stunt and while it was an intense battle, Shantanu emerged as the winner. In fact, a few weeks back, we had actually revealed to you how Shantanu might be the winner and looks like we were right! Apart from the top 5 contestants, Shibani Dandekar, Shiny Doshi, Manveer Gurjar, Lopamudra Raut, Karan Wahi, Geeta Phogat and Rithvik Dhanjani were also a part of Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8. The show was hosted in Spain and the tag line – ‘Pain in Spain’ was really apt as the the contestants had to battle a lot of difficulties during the show. Not only did we see them do some insane stunts, but the temperature was also testing. Anyway, all in all, Khatron Ke Khiladi season 8 was fantastic and we enjoyed it.
