Karan Johar: I am a fan of Kangana. I didn’t call her to my last party, but I’ll call her to my next party

Now that’s a little unbelievable, no? I mean, after whatever happened between Karan Johar and Kangana Ranaut a couple of months ago, who would have ever thought that he would utter these lines? But well, he’s actually said it! Not too long ago, Ms Ranaut was at her sassy best when she went on to call KJo the “flag bearer of nepotism.” While on the show the filmmaker kept quiet, he soon gave a befitting response to each and every statement that Kanagna had made against him on his chat show. It sparked a whole new debate all over the country and suddenly nepotism became everyone’s favourite word. While nepotism continues to be a hot topic of discussion till today, Karan Johar has, on the other hand, seems to have decided to call it a truce with Kangana. In an interview with Barkha Dutt, the filmmaker was asked if he will apologise to Kangana for saying that she should stop playing the victim and the “woman card,” Karan said, “I felt attacked, why should I apologise? She had an opinion and I respect that, but I had my opinion to give as well. I am a fan of Kangana. I didn’t call her to my last party, but I’ll call her to my next party.” Now a statement like that, coming from Karan Johar, is a big deal! We wonder what Kangana has to say to this. Do you think she will bury the hatchet and become friends with Karan or will she continue to maintain a good distance from the filmmaker?

For the uninitiated, it all started when Kangana Ranaut appeared on Koffee With Karan Season 5. She accused Karan Johar of nepotism and called him the movie mafia. And after that, there was absolutely no stopping the war of words between the filmmaker and the actress.
