Karan Johar has been one of the most versatile film personalities. He has been garnering a lot of praise these days for his performance in Anurag Kashyap’s Bombay Velvet. The movie may have received mixed reviews from all corners but it surely has given KJo’s acting career a new leash of life.

Karan began his Bollywood career as an actor in Aditya Chopra’s Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaaenge and pretty soon moved ahead to direct his own feature film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. Both these became massive hits and made KJo a name to reckon with. Slowly and steadily he revived his father Yash Johar’s production house Dharma Production and turned it into one of the most successful movie making studios of the country. Seeing his expertise behind the camera as director producer, he very soon moved on to hosting the chat show Koffee With Karan. The show became an instant hit with the audience as they could see their favourite superstars come there and talk to them so openly and candidly. The show has till now had four seasons and all of them have been a notch above the other.
