TV actress Puja Banerjee of Devon Ke Dev…Mahadev has been unlucky in love second time round. The lady was dating actor Kunal Verma for three years now and was quite open about her relationship. However, a few months back Kunal and Puja broke up their long-term relationship.
The two met on the sets of Tujh Sang Preet Lagayi Sajna and hit it off instantly. It seems Puja wanted to get hitched and settle down soon while Kunal wasn’t ready for this leap. Kunal told Bombay Times, “It was a mutual decision. Yes, Puja wanted marriage, but I don’t think I am ready for it yet. I want to focus on my career and get established first before taking on the responsibility of a family. Puja and I continue to be friends.”
Kunal also spoke to entertainment portal India Forums. He told the website, “I don’t like talking about my personal life and I am not a person who wants publicity out of this. There are some things that should be understood and kept as it is. There was just a conversation about this matter and I talked about some stuff off-record. I don’t know how did they make it to the news brigade. As I said, I have not been very vocal about my personal life since day one. There is no denying that we had a great time together and nothing can take that away. I am not comfortable talking about it too much. When I am doing good work, I would be more than happy to talk and share about the same. Anything pertaining my work, my show, etc, I am always up for a chat. And even now, when I am not doing much work, I don’t want such publicity and would rather be known and remembered for my work.”
Kunal was last seen on the show Dream Girl on Life Ok. Puja is now seen on Comedy Nights Bachao Tazaa. The actress was married before but divorced a few years earlier. Stay tuned for more updates on Bollywood Life…
