This is what happened on the show tonight…
Sonakshi Sinha is out of the show. She is on her USA tour called the Fusion Tour along with Akshay Kumar and Prabhu Dheva. That’s why she wasn’t here and she was deeply missed on the show not just by the contestants and the judges, but even the audiences. Suleiman Merchant replaced Sonakshi for this episode. So what did Sona do specially for all the little kids? Any guesses?
Sonakshi sent a video to wish all the contestants. She spoke to them and hopes that none of them would get eliminated on the day. She even asked all the little ones not to cry if anyone among them is eliminated. The performances were, as usual, the best part of the show. Shweta Pandit and Mohammad Irfan sang Dil sambhal zara from Murder 2 and Is darde dil ki sifarish from Yaariyan. Shweta went ahead to thank Salim-Sulaiman for giving her a break in the film industry. Shweta and Vaishnav sing Darmiyan. Then it was Niharika’s turn to sing and she went ahead to sing Khudaya we ye ishq hai ajib from Luck along with Mohammed Irfan. Mohammed Irfan goes on to sing Jaise banjare ko ghar. Nityashree with Shweta Pandit tauba tauba isque mai kariyan. Salim and Suleman sings khali khali. Moti with Mohammad they sing Ali maula. Ananya with Shweta sang tu hi to jannat meri. Judges with shweta sing ladies vs rucky bahel song kudiyno thag le. Nahid with Mohammad Irfan they sing kuch khaas hai from fashion. Juniors thank Anand ji for being their mentors.
Asha Negi’s birthday was also celebrated on the set. The judges went ahead to sing for her as it was her birthday. Also, her parents sent her a lovely message and that was played on video. Wedding Pulav’s Anushka Ranjan was there for an integration song. All contestants sung a medley of Rafi and Gulzar songs.
