While Roy won the film with the Best Music
The IIFA ceremony has started off on a grand note. Farhan Akhtar is looking dapper in blue while Shahid Kapoor is wearing a hue of mustard. The party is rocking in Spain. The first round of awards were given for the music category. Annu Malik’s composition for Dum Laga Ke Haisa Moh Moh Ke Dhaage won the award for Best Lyrics. Varun Grover seemed elated as he took the award. It was followed by Papon, who won the Best Male Playback for the same number. He sang a few lines of the number as well. The effect was spell-binding on the audience. Monali Thakur who won the Best Playback Female for the same number thanked Annu Malik for the brilliant composition.
Dia Mirza looked ravishing as she came on stage to give the award for Best Music. It was won by the composers of Roy. We have seen hosts Meiyang Chang, Mukti Mohan and Arjun Bijlani entertaining us on stage and the proceedings are quite fun so far. IIFA 2016 is being held in Madrid and is attended by some of the biggest stars.
