Sex comedies are not something new in Bollywood. There was a time when our films where plagued with sex comedies, which where neither sexy nor funny. But when I watched the trailer of Gulshan Devaiah-Radhika Apte starrer Hunterrr, I couldn’t stifle my laughter as the promor managed to tickle my funny bone. And I thought to my self,” After a long time I have seen a trailer of a sex comedy, that is hot, quirky and funny at the same time.”
The makers of Hunterrr have unveiled the title track, Hunterrr 303, which promises to take you on joy ride. I took a sneak peak of the song and this is what I thought of it:
As the song opens, its tele shopping style treatment instantly catches your eye as you snuggle in your seat to wondering how the song would turn out to be. Gulshan Devaiah, who plays a womaniser in the film, gives you three easy steps to pick up a girl. The actor seems to be having a lot of fun doing Bollywood style song and dance, but at times looks a little out of place. Radhika Apte, who made headlines when her doppelganger’s nude pics made to internet, looks extremely sexy and classy in the black dress. The song has a lot of fun elements and quirk factor to keep you hooked. Sung by Bappi Lahiri in his unique style, the song has repeat value as the tune will stick to your head long after the song is over.
