Heropanti, Baaghi – Tiger Shroff ROARS at the box office and how!

He passed the litmus test with flying colours…

There’s a popular saying in Bollywood, your first film chooses you, but you choose your next. First movie tells you whether or not audience is interested in you. There are instances of actors who created a storm with their first film, vanishes from public memory after their follow-ups don’t manage to keep up. That’s why choosing the right script and playing by your strengths are important. But again there are also examples where an actor shined from their next film, Ranbir Kapoor being the best example of the same. Hence, it is said the second film in an actor’s career decides where he is headed in this industry. You are either here for the long haul or you are doomed. Tiger Shroff has thus proved he is here for good measure and doesn’t plan to go anywhere. Baaghi earned an enviable 38. 58 cr in its first weekend and became the third highest weekend grosser of 2016. After a hit Heropanti, Baaghi’s success proves what Tiger is moving towards – indefinite stardom.

During Heropanti, he had the support of the whole industry thanks to the goodwill of his father Jackie Shroff. The trailer launch of his film was attended by Aamir Khan. The trailer was amazing but it was the Whistle bajaa song which created the right buzz for the film. Rest of the songs picked up too. Resultant? The film earned a lot at the box office. Taran Adarsh, Trade Analyst, had tweeted the collections then saying, “#Heropanti Fri 6.63 cr, Sat 6.42 cr, Sun 8.28 cr, Mon 4.26 cr, Tue 3.79 cr. Total: ₹ 29.38 cr nett. India biz. HIT!” In its first week, the film earned 35.91 cr.

Now if you see the collections of Baaghi, it has already surpassed the first week collections of Heropanti in just three days. At 38.58 cr, it is already on the path of success. It will make 50 cr soon enough and we can expect a massive total by the end of this week. So here is Tiger proving to all that he isn’t an one-film wonder at all. He is here to stay and his films are proving that fact. All you young boys in Bollywood, this action man is giving you stiff competition!
