It’s now official! Baahubali 2 has been cleared by the Censor Board and is set to release in China. I. This is big news indeed as one of the biggest blockbusters is set to release in an overseas market. After creating a furore at the time of its release in India, we can’t wait to find out if the magnum opus spins its magic yet again, this time at the China Box office. We are looking forward to the film’s release. Hoping the release date will be out soon. For those who don’t know, Baahubali: The Conclusion is Part 2 of the franchise. Both saw equal success at the box office, however the first Part did not fare as well as expected at the China Box office. The film earned Rs 1.21 million dollars (7,30,41,360 crores) at the Box office. That’s how much the movie will have to earn to BEAT Baahubali: The Beginning. Considering the success rate of Baahubali 2 was higher, in all likelihood, the movie will more than race ahead of the first part at the China Box office. However, the film will have to compete with other Hindi films that have performed phenomenally at the China Box office namely – Dangal, Secret Superstar and Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
if we at look at the individual successes of Hindi films in China – .Aamir Khan’s film on wrestling managed to earn Rs 1200 crore in China alone, His most recent film Secret Superstar stunned everybody when it earned Rs 800 crore. Also, Salman Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan has managed to rake in Rs 234 crore at the China Box office. While we are sure Baahubali 2 will beat Baahubali: the Beginning. we can’t wait to find out if the film manages to race ahead of Dangal, Secret Superstar and Bajrangi. Whether it beats these films or not, there si a big chance the film will rake in Rs 2000 crore at the China Box office, becoming the first film to do so. Already at Rs 1700 crore, the film is not far off from the Rs 2000 crore mark!
