After Esha Deol married her beau Bharat Takhtani last year, it is the turn of Dharmendra’s younger daughter Ahana to toe the knot
Dharmendra and Hema Malini have two daughters, Ahana Deol and Esha Deol (from Dhoom, Yuva and Tell Me Oh Khuda, remember?). Esha married her jeweller beau Bharat Takhtani on July 29 last year and has been denying stories of her pregnancy ever since. Now it is Ahana’s turn. The younger Deol daughter got engaged to her boyfriend Vaibhav Vora on June 22 this year and now we hear that the wedding date has been fixed for February 2, 2014. Vaibhav is a Delhi-based businessman and in a wonderfully awwww… moment went down on bended knee to formally propose to his ladylove at their engagement ceremony!
Reportedly, Hema Malini and Esha are already busy getting Ahana’s trousseau ready. The wedding will be in Mumbai – the families are still trying to sort out whether it will be in the traditional South Indian style or a grand Punjabi shaadi complete with band, baaja and baraat, but there will be receptions in Delhi and Mumbai, with the who’s who of both cities and of Bollywood invited.
Mum Hema insists that Ahana, a trained Odissi dancer, will continue performing after she is married, and even though she will move to Delhi to join her to-be-hubby and his family, “I will get to spend time with her during our shows. And of course, she can visit Mumbai as and when she wants,” the star of Bhagban says.
