Exclusive: Tiger Shroff’s Baaghi is not a remake of the 1990 Salman Khan film!

Though both the films share the same title, makers of Tiger’s film say that the two stories are completely different…

If you thought that Tiger Shroff’s new film, Baaghi, is yet another remake on its way to the theatres, you are much mistaken. Makers of Baaghi say that the film is not the same as Salman Khan’s 1990 film Baaghi: A Rebel for Love.

A source close to the makers of Tiger’s film revealed that even though the title of the two films is the same, the subject, as well as the story, of both the films is very different.

Rumours sparked ever since the name of Tiger’s second film was announced, which suggested that the film is a remake of Salman’s action-romance movie. But Sajid Nadiadwala and Sabbir Khan have actively denied all rumours saying that Tiger’s Baaghi is a completely different film.

Members from the film’s team also confirm that a formal consent to use the same title from the makers of Salman’s Baaghi was acquired before finalizing the name for Shroff’s film.

We also have another Baaghi in Bollywood- the 2000 film which starred Sanjay Dutt and Manisha Koirala- but according to the makers, Tiger’s Baaghi is not a remake of any movie and is s novel story in itself.

Insider sources divulge that Tiger wants Katrina Kaif to be his leading lady in the film. Let’s see if Kat agrees to star opposite Tiger in the film!
