Saif Ali Khan plays the protagonist, Sartaj Singh, in Netflix’s first Indian original series, Sacred Games. All 8 episodes of the season 1 are available to binge-watch and have been very well received by the viewers as well as the critics. We are sure even your social media timelines have been all swelled with posts about Sacred Games for the past two weeks. Well, Saif is loving positive feedback. In an EXCLUSIVE conversation with BollywoodLife, the actor said, “The response has been very nice and very encouraging. It is a great feeling that it has been globally accepted, by reviewers that don’t normally review the movie I do, but they reviewed the show. They find it to be internationally competitive which is a wonderful achievement for the Phantom films and the whole cast and crew. Good that we can make stuff in India that the world can watch,”
Saif was holidaying in the UK with his wife, Kareena Kapoor, and son, Taimur, for the past few weeks and only returned to Mumbai today. When we asked him what has been his wife, Kareena, and his kids’ reaction to Sacred Games, he opened up. He joked, “My most recent kid can’t actually speak so he hasn’t got anything to say about it. My other kids have not mentioned it, I don’t know why,” (ALSO READ: EXCLUSIVE: Saif Ali Khan on Sacred Games, freedom on the internet and owing his success to Mumbai)

Adding to the conversation, Saif revealed that his wife has loved the show. “And Kareena loved it too, but she has not seen the whole thing. I am going to make her watch it when we go back to Bombay,” he affirmed. Well, now that the Khans are back in town, it is about time they finished Sacred Games, and know better why the world is so awestruck by it.
