Ayushmann Khurrana’s Hawaizaada may have bitten the dust with its poor performance at the box office but the actor can be credited for his versatile attempt in the film. As we all know, Ayushmann became a sensation post his release, Vicky Donor, but has failed to achieve a similar mark ever since. Well we believe he just might with Yash Raj Films’s new venture titled Dum Laga Ke Haisha!The trailer of the film was released recently and after watching it, I’m left intrigued. Simple, sweet and touching, the trailer of DLKH has certainly made an impact on my mind with its unique concept. Tackling the topic of obesity and the stigma attached to the same, this film broadly highlights the stereotypes associated with a typical Indian bride. Not only is she expected to be thin, but also fair and a virgin. Well from what I gather, this film is all set to break notions about over weight women in the Indian society, by spreading the message that love comes in all sizes. So what if your wife is obese? What’s love got to do with it?
The film’s trailer showcases Ayushmann as the typical Indian male who has qualms on accepting his overweight wife. The venture is introducing the actress Bhumi Pedneker, who by the looks of it will floor us with her performance!
