We got a chance to interact with the gen next stars of B-town. Check out our exclusive interview with Dilwale’s Varun and Kriti!
Bollywood will see a fresh and sizzling jodi this year with Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon in Dilwale. As we all know, Varun has been paired opposite his Student Of The Year co-star Alia Bhatt before. Kriti on the other hand is one film old and made her debut with Heropanti opposite Tiger Shroff. The two young guns of B-town will now be seen sharing screen space in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming next, which also stars Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol! The nation is excited to see the grand reunion of B-town’s most iconic jodi and are eager to watch Varun and Kriti’s fresh jodi on screen. BollywoodLife got in touch with these young stars and I had the chance of interviewing the two. Thanks to Varun and Kriti’s sporting and spirited nature, I had a memorable time!
In an exclusive chat with us, Varun and Kriti were candid and fun where they spoke about their experience on working in Dilwale and the equation that they share with one another. When I asked the two about how they broke the ice on-set, Varun said,” We hated each other initially. Kriti ran me over with a car.” Lol, that’s an outlandish statement the actor gave there but it was obviously, in jest. Kriti butt in saying,” I didn’t hate him, he probably hated me. Adding to that she said, ” Like how you don’t know each other and are a little awkward initially, because of that guarded space. But then when we started shooting together, the first schedule was actually more or less us and Varun Sharma.”
Varun recalled his first meeting with Kriti and said,” “I felt that she was holding back. Kriti ke man mein bahut emotions the mereko leke, and she was holding them back. She had a lot of love for me, but she was not ready to give it. I think it took a couple of months, when, eventually I fell unwell and she let go.” Aww that’s cute isn’t it?
When asked to talk about a secret talent that Varun has, Kriti said,” I think the way he puts his point across, without making the other person feel bad. He’s not rude but he can actually put his point across without offending anyone.”
Kriti further spilled the beans on one unknown fact about her co-star Kajol and Varun spoke about the next Khan he wishes to work with after Shah Rukh Khan. Well we won’t give it all away so check out the video below and post your thoughts in the comments section!
