Gautham Menon‘s last movie Achcham Yenbadhu Madamiyada starring Simbu was one of the first movies to release when demonetisation hit the country. It went on to fare well at the box office and ran for 50 days. While he is shooting for another with Dhanush, the first look of his much talked about project with Vikram – Dhruva Natchathiram is out. Vikram is seen in a slick business tycoon avatar and it’s a class apart. We aren’t surprised because Chiyaan is always known to change his look for every movie he signs on. Even in his last release, Iru Mugan Vikram sported two completely different looks as he played the hero and the villain in the same film. And here he goes again! Dhruva Natchathiram has been Gautham Menon’s pet project for a while. He was supposed to collaborate with Suriya for this film, but the duo fell out due to some creative differences. In fact, Suriya had sent out a letter explaining the reason for rejecting the project. Interestingly, the superstar opened up about the incident recently and expressed his regret about handling the situation badly. “When I saw my letter in the press, I felt bad and I realised I should have handled the situation differently. But, it was too late,” he said on Koffee with DD show on Vijay TV. But that’s that now, as Vikram will star in this ambitious spy thriller project. The film is set for a August 2017 release. There are rumours that Nayanthara will be roped for the female lead role. So how did you like the first look? Doesn’t he cut an impressive figure? In other news, Gautham Menon-Dhanush’s next project – Enai Noki Paayum Thota is a romantic actioner. while the first part will be a typical romantic movie, the second part will be filled wth hard core action sequences. The movie also stars Megha Akash. The movie was supposed to hit theatres in February but it has been pushed to April or May 2017. The movie will also stars Rana Daggubati in a crucial role. Recently, Gautham Menon rubbished reports of bringing together for Vikram and Nivin Pauly for an upcoming Tamil venture. “They are totally false news and baseless too.” stated the director while speaking with a leading daily. But he will collaborate with another Mollywood star soon – Prithviraj that will also star others actors across South Indian industries. They are set to start shooting this August. Clearly, Gautham Menon is going to be busy all year round.
