The Tamil actor is shooting for Kodi and Rail simultaneously.
Very recently, Dhanush‘s upcoming political thriller Kodi went on floors. But it is the actor’s Prabhu Solomon venture which is getting all the attention.The hype for Rail is due to the director Prabhu Solomon‘s flick Kumki that gained a lot of critical acclaim for its unique theme. And there is of course no doubt that Dhanush is a master at what he does. So, when this formidable duo comes to work together, then there is always room for excitement.
Rail will feature Dhanush and Malayalam actress Keerthy Suresh playing the lead. Apparently the entire movie is shot on a train and the story is based on the events of a single train journey. Rumor has it that the movie was shot on Duranto Express between Delhi and Chennai. Earlier, the makers were in dilemma about the title, and speculated between Delhi to Chennai and Rail. Eventually, they settled for the latter. Dhanush is to play Poochiappan, a pantry boy and Keerthy Suresh’s character is called Saroja who is a touch-up girl to an actress. The movie is set to be released on Valentine’s day.
Prabhu Solomon has a great reputation for making amazingly natural and rural stories with relatable characters. After the critically successful Mynaa and Kumki, it remains to be seen if Rail will also join this great list.
