Janhvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khatter are busy receiving rave reviews for Dhadak while basking in its success. The movie that marked the debut of Sridevi and Boney Kapoor’s elder daughter, was a remake of a hit Marathi film Sairat. While comparisons were unavoidable, Dhadak managed to win our heart and we are glad that Karan Johar decided to take Ishaan and Janhvi under his wings. We know how Khushi cried during the trailer launch and how emotional Boney Kapoor was to see his elder daughter on the big screen. While it is common to give and receive advice, and family members are the ones we really listen to, was Janhvi Kapoor offered some? Well, yes and we know what it was. During the success party of Dhadak when Janhvi was asked about an advice she received from her family members, she had a rather funny take to it. When asked about one thing that her family advised her not to do after Dhadak, she started laughing instead of answering. Her co-star Ishaan joked that her family might have asked her not to do anything like the characters did in the film. After a while, Janhvi laughed and said, “They told me not to do a remake of any film for a while now.” So guess we won’t see Ms Kapoor in any remakes for some time now. After Janhvi’s successful debut, sister Khushi too is planning to enter Bollywood. Boney Kapoor in his recent conversation with SpotBoyE was asked if Khushi will enter B-town and he said, “I wouldn’t say that I motivated Janhvi. I encouraged her to let her do what she wants. Why curb someone’s natural instincts? Like for one, I didn’t know until Salman (Khan) told me that Arjun has it in him to become an actor. On the other hand, my eldest child, Anshula is extremely academically inclined. And Khushi first wanted to become a model- but has now shifted her focus to becoming an actress.” Acting runs in her genes and we can’t blame her for it.
